Atelier Esthetique Institute of Esthetics is proud to host a variety of workshops conducted by industry professionals who bring their knowledge and expertise to the classroom on a wide range of advanced, esthetics-related topics designed to enhance your knowledge and skill in the field. Most of the workshops can be completed in as little as one or two days.
These workshops are not affiliated with Atelier and are therefore not accredited by NACCAS or licensed by the State of New York.
Eligibility and Requirements
Participants must possess an Esthetician License or other professional licensing; including Cosmetologists (or equivalent professional governing body designation), Licensed Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practicing Nurses (LPN), Physicians’ Assistants (PA), Physician, or Massage Therapists. Exceptions may be made for graduate students in the above fields or in their last quarter of study. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance from the instructor upon completion.

Ayurveda Facial Techniques
In this hosted workshop participants will learn to articulate clean beauty in professional terms; distinguish between marketing and science in products; create effective clean skincare regimens; understand the steps involved in starting your own clean skincare brand; how to obtain resources for product production; how to identify toxic products; and understanding the importance and need for sustainability.
Cold Copper Spoon Facial & Scraping Techniques
In this hosted workshop participants will learn to articulate clean beauty in professional terms; distinguish between marketing and science in products; create effective clean skincare regimens; understand the steps involved in starting your own clean skincare brand; how to obtain resources for product production; how to identify toxic products; and understanding the importance and need for sustainability.
Dermaplaning
With roughly 2 million Instagram posts tagged #dermaplaning, ranging from videos of the procedure to before and after photos, this skincare procedure has gained major popularity among beauty enthusiasts. Dermaplaning thoroughly exfoliates the skin using a No. 10 surgical blade held at a 45-degree angle to gently scrape the outer layer of the skin which consists of dull, dead skin cells. Dermaplaning helps minimize imperfections, removes fine lines while improving texture (think silky smooth skin) and removes vellus hairs! Dermaplaning also increases product penetration, so your results are instantly visible.
Eyebrows Shape and Tint
This workshop covers all the techniques you need to know to begin offering this treatment as many clients are now opting for brow tinting as opposed to wearing make-up day-to-day, giving definition and creating the appearance of fuller brows.
Facial Cupping Therapy
In this hosted workshop participants will learn to articulate clean beauty in professional terms; distinguish between marketing and science in products; create effective clean skincare regimens; understand the steps involved in starting your own clean skincare brand; how to obtain resources for product production; how to identify toxic products; and understanding the importance and need for sustainability.
Facial Manual Sculpting & Toning Techniques
Learn organic facial techniques to help your clients minimize signs of aging by toning, strengthening and relaxing the main facial muscles. The Facial Manual Sculpting & Toning Techniques course is designed for licensed Estheticians currently working in the field of beauty, spa, massage, and/or holistic health and wellness. This non-invasive treatment is a great alternative to traditional beauty treatments like plastic surgeries, injectables, and the use of various toxic substances to delay the aging process.
Gua Sha Facial
Gua Sha is a massage technique using a patented white jade tool for facial and neck rejuvenation based on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) healing principles. This treatment is designed to relieve tension in the muscles of the face, boost blood circulation, and encourage lymphatic drainage to banish bloat. It helps break up fascia, the connective tissue that hugs muscles but can sometimes interfere with optimal circulation. The increase in circulation is said to increase hydration for that coveted youthful glow, and it even helps the skin to naturally purge blemish-causing dirt and oils.
Holistic Facial Techniques
A holistic facial is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses various massage techniques using tools and all-natural skincare products to help the skin fight internal and external factors that cause damage. At Atelier we offer advanced training for three types of holistic facial techniques: Facial Manual Sculpting & Toning, Facial Cupping and Cold Copper Spoon Therapy.
JB Eyelash Extensions
Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent fibers that are attached to your natural eyelashes in order to make your lash fringe look longer, fuller, and darker. Individual lash extensions are applied to each of your natural eyelashes (one extension per natural eyelash) using a semi-permanent glue.
Lash Lift & Henna
Lash lifting curls and lifts natural lashes for up 6 to 8 weeks! This treatment enhances the natural eyelash hairs to appear longer, healthier, and fuller using nourishing formulas to hydrate the lashes. It’s one of the best alternatives to extensions, and the treatment can be combined with tinting to create a beautiful look.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Face & Neck)
The Lymphatic System is the bodies’ internal cleanser. Performing Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) therapy increases the rate of detoxification and nourishment of the skin and underlying tissue. These effects continue after treatment because MLD clears congested tissue, vessels and lymph nodes enabling them to process inflammation and toxins more efficiently after treatment. MLD is deeply relaxing, tapping into the parasympathetic nervous system and balancing hormones. The benefits are skin health and rejuvenation, the maintenance of skin elasticity and a youthful appearance. It is helpful in managing acne, rosacea, puffiness, and edema after surgery.
Micro Shading: Lip & Brow
Lip Blush is a technique that gives a natural effect of enhanced lip shape and color. Using a soft application finding the color that best goes with your face shape and skin. This service has no down time as the swelling of the lips will go down within hours.
