Advanced classes at Atelier Esthétique require an New York State esthetician license or other professional licensing, including Cosmetologists (or equivalent professional governing body designation), Licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN), Physicians' Assistant (PA), Physician, Massage Therapist, or Acupuncturist (Laser Class only). Exceptions may be made for graduate students in the above fields or in their last quarter of study

What is a Chemical Peel?

Chemical peels are acid solutions applied to the epidermis that dissolve the outermost layer of the skin allowing it to peel off as the days pass. Ideal for treating skin conditions and imperfections, chemical peels are an excellent treatment for melasma, acne, sun damage, enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles. As a licensed esthetician NYS limits you to light and moderate peels. Chemical peels are often referred as chemical exfoliation and epidermal exfoliation.

  • Pre-Treatment and Post Treatment Protocol
  • How to customize professional treatments
  • On day two you will have hands-on practice of the Chemical Exfoliation procedure
