What is a Chemical Peel?
Chemical peels are acid solutions applied to the epidermis that dissolve the outermost layer of the skin allowing it to peel off as the days pass. Ideal for treating skin conditions and imperfections, chemical peels are an excellent treatment for melasma, acne, sun damage, enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles. As a licensed esthetician NYS limits you to light and moderate peels. Chemical peels are often referred as chemical exfoliation and epidermal exfoliation.
